Onosato has taken home the yusho, once again. With Hoshoryu making his first real tournament as a yokozuna, Natsu of 2025 was highly anticipated. Onosato, at only 24 years of age, now has four yusho. We've called it in the past: Onosato is the future of sumo. But on day 15, with a perfect record on the line, Onosato dropped his only match to none other than Hoshoryu. This sets up Nagoya 2025 to be a hotly contested one. For now, Onosato will be the man of the day and likely become the next yokozuna.
