Justin Gaethje also returns at UFC 313. He is rematching Rafael Fiziev in a short notice bout after Dan Hooker pulled out due to an injury. This fight has so many questions around it. Will Justin Gaethje be the same after being put out by Max Holloway at UFC 300? How will Rafael Fiziev be after his leg injury? Will either be the same as they once were?
Jalin Turner and Ignacio Bahamondes are also featured on the main card of UFC 313. These two are sleepers in their division. The key to beating Ignacio Bahamondes will be getting inside and working him. For Jalin Turner, who is long and uses those weapons, this will be a long task. I don’t make any secrets, we’re pulling for Ignacio Bahamondes in this one.
So how does UFC 313 stack up against other pay per view cards? The Alex Pereira-Magomed Ankalaev fight is great. But there are some other fun fights on UFC 313 as well. Bobby Green and Maruicio Ruffy is a banger. Curtis Blaydes is taking on a guy who failed for anabolic steroids in PFL. Joshua Van and Rei Tsuruya also may be the best fight on the card, even over the main event.
