The headbutt wasn’t always illegal. But now it is. That does not mean that it’s not a technique worth studying. The film study nerd in me LOVES the headbutt. So I wanted to take this time to look at three examples of how the headbutt is used in fights from the past. First, we will look at a Lethwei bout from Myanmar. Next, we get over to some early UFC and see Mark Coleman utilized the headbutt against Gary Goodridge. Lastly, Cocainecharli from King of the Streets delivers us our modern headbutt.
