It looked like Gregory Rodrigues had Jared Cannonier dead to rights. But after round one, Jared Cannonier dug in and clawed his way back into the fight. It was then when “The Killa Gorilla” managed to fend off a would be contender. With another contender put away, Jared Cannonier has options moving forward. But time is not on the 40-year-old’s side.

Gregory Rodrigues seemed to have all the hype in the world going into UFC Vegas 102. He was given the task of taking Jared Cannonier to the pasture. Instead, he was up for a round, an inch from victory, and gave the fight away with a round four finish. Will Gregory Rodrigues be the same after this? What should the Brazilian heavy hitter do? Is a move to 205 in the future for the giant?

UFC Vegas 102 also gave Youssef Zalal a major shot at exposure against Calvin Kattar in the co-main event. While Youssef Zalal looked fantastic in the first two rounds against Calvin Kattar, that third round left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouth. How high will Youssef Zalal go?

Edmen Shahbazyan knocked out Dylan Budka in the first round with a slick cross off the back foot. Big deal? Not really. Dylan Budka isn't a very high quality opponent in comparison to Edmen Shahbazyan. Regardless, Edmen Shahbazyan needed a win after his loss to Gerald Meerschaert. This was that.
